I was raised by my grandparents, who instilled in me the values of faith, resilience, and service — principles that guide my work today.
My journey has included overcoming a domestic violence relationship that brought unexpected legal challenges. After restitution was paid, the charge connected to that season was dismissed. That experience strengthened my commitment to justice, accountability, and second chances — especially for youth and women navigating difficult circumstances.
Today, I serve within the juvenile justice system as an advocate, while actively supporting community initiatives through NAMI Georgia, the NAACP, NCNW, Rockdale CASA, and Family Promise of NewRock. My work bridges advocacy, mental health awareness, mentorship, and civic engagement.
Above all, I am a proud mother to my daughter, Jierra Brené. Motherhood fuels my mission to build legacy, create safe spaces, and ensure that every young person I serve knows their value and potential.
